Camden Park Kicks Off The 2009 Season The rides are running, everything's been painted, the spring bulbs are up and the Midway games and refreshments have been stocked. It's time for the 106th season of Camden Park. The family-run, family-fun park located just five miles west of Huntington along U.S. 60 is now open. The historic amusement park, which has more than 30 rides and attractions, is now open Weekends. (See calendar for hours.) Jack Boylin, general manager for the park, said the excitement is building for a special season that will include the first full season of the new 18-hole mini golf. It is located by the railroad and near the Little Dipper. "It's spring and everything is coming alive and it is kind of like the park is awakening, too," Boylin said.
